Our take
I grabbed the Samsung C49RG90SSN at $700 and it's been a great investment. The 49-inch 32:9 QLED display is incredibly bright at 1000 cd/m², making HDR content pop. Colors are vibrant, and the 120Hz is smooth for most games. The included monitor arm is a nice bonus, though the stand is bulky. The 5120x1440 resolution gives plenty of screen real estate for multitasking. However, the 120Hz refresh rate is lower than newer monitors, and the 4ms response is okay but not elite. For the price, it's a fantastic value if you want a massive ultrawide.
