The AOC CU34G2X is a fantastic ultrawide gaming monitor for the price. The 34-inch curved screen at 3440x1440 is immersive, and the 144Hz refresh rate feels smooth. The 3000:1 contrast ratio delivers deep blacks, which is great for dark scenes. I particularly liked the comprehensive feature set: USB hub, headphone jack, and slim bezels. The build quality is decent for the price point. However, the 300 cd/m² brightness is only average, and the VA panel has some ghosting in fast transitions. Adaptive-Sync works well but isn't G-SYNC certified. For $290, it's an exceptional value for gamers who want a large ultrawide experience.
